Colors represent cultures — a reflection and artistic depiction of what African and Indigenous people have faced for generations. Through colonization teachings were lost, and vicious cycles were learned, leaving us disconnected from who we once were, left to pickup the pieces.
This represents that loss and disconnect, but also the journey of finding our way back. Piece by piece, we’re reconnecting — with our roots, our knowledge, and ourselves.
